CILANTRO MARINADE
This is always a huge hit at my dinner table with everyone- toddlers, kids, adults, cilantro lovers, cilantro haters... It's wonderful as a marinate and just as yummy as a sauce (you get a lot more health benefits out of eating cilantro in a raw form). It 's great with meat, poultry, fish and vegetables, pretty much anything you can smear this sauce onto.Even if you think that smell of cilantro makes your stomach turn I dare you to try this marinade. I had so many people surprised that the main ingredient here is cilantro as they absolutely loved the dish even if they generally dislike the taste or smell of cilantro. And it only takes one minute to make! I love easy peasy breezy recipes that bring the whole family and neighbors to the dinner table just with the simple aroma of the dish.Cilantro is high in potassium, vitamin A, vitamin K, calcium and many more flavonoids, phytonutrients and phenolic compounds. It can help remove heavy metals from the body and protects against oxidative stress among other health benefits.
